Kudos Services (Kudos) is a vibrant, innovative, and enterprising organisation which exists to provide services to empower children and young people with a disability or developmental delay to achieve positive outcomes that support them to reach their full potential.

Kudos achieves this in two ways: firstly, through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) partnership for South Australia for 0–9-year old’s, delivering ECEI assessment and support that helps to early developmental delays. Secondly, for those aged 9, up to and including adults requiring further support, Kudos is a registered provider of therapy services under the NDIS. 

Job Description

As a vital part of the Kudos team, you will ensure our organisation's services align with the highest industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you'll be responsible for maintaining a high-performing quality, safety, and risk environment. Your role will support the Kudos team in meeting or exceeding industry quality standards and accreditation.

 

Key Responsibilities

Quality and Compliance:

  • Coordinate projects related to the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
  • Support and advise on organisational feedback, complaints, and reporting requirements
  • Implement changes from legislative, policy, procedure, or standard updates
  • Assist with client incident management and reporting
  • Oversee risk management framework and registers
  • Ensure stakeholder understanding of compliance obligations
  • Review and develop policies and procedures
  • Assist with reporting to the Governance and Risk Committee
  • Document control including, coordinating policy and procedure updates, contributing to efficient, organisation-wide information management

Collaboration and Problem-Solving:

  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation to support highly effective problem-solving, design solutions, and maintain a robust risk management environment.

Skills and Experience for Success:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge and experience of the NDIS, Quality and Safeguarding Framework, and Practice Standards
  • Extensive experience working with quality management systems and strong document management skills
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements within the disability sector and ASES accreditation
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
  • Systems-focused approach with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a talent for developing and implementing solutions
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including SharePoint

It is a requirement of this position that the successful incumbent maintains a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check which is satisfactory to Kudos in accordance with the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA).
