Job Description

Early Childhood Practitioner

As an EC Practitioner/Coordinator, you will implement the NDIS Early Childhood approach to assist young children and their families to achieve their best lives. You will work with a supportive team of professionals, providing clinical expertise and growing and learning in your profession without the pressure of billable hours.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve utilizing your clinical and professional skills to provide intervention to children and their families. This includes undertaking individual assessments and interventions or running groups with parents and children. You will also be out in the community building the skills and capacity of community and mainstream workers, as well as families.

To succeed in this role, you will need proficient computer skills to write reports and provide details to the NDIA on a child’s developmental and functional abilities.

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

· An equivalent or recognised degree in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology

· Eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia

· Eligible for registration with AHPRA

· Experience working, volunteering or personally supporting children with developmental delays or a passion to develop this experience at Kudos.

· Excellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare high quality written reports, and other documentation as required within tight timeframes

· Strong organisational skills and a good attention to detail

· Experience with using the Microsoft Suite of products alongside the ability to learn other IT systems.

Location:

There are multiple roles available located at our Elizabeth or Unley office, to provide support across metropolitan Adelaide as required. Some roles may require travel to regional areas of South Australia.
